Why no "buzz" collar, even at the beep-only setting
Shock collars marketed as "vibration only" or "beep mode" still ship with the shock mechanism. Owners reach for the buzz in moments when the dog isn't listening, exactly when the next escalation is a shock. The collar is the gateway, not the solution.
CritterU's Buzz button does the acoustic part, the same low vibrato sound, and skips the device entirely. The dog learns the sound as a signal, the same way they learn any marker, and the shock hardware never enters the house.
